Train des Gorges
In the heart of the preserved natural environment of the Doux Valley, passengers can enjoy the most untouched part of the Doux Gorges as they travel along full steam. The journey ends at the small station in Colombier-le-Vieux/Saint Barthélémy-le-Plain. On arrival the locomotive weighing 44tons is turned round manually on its turntable ! An awesome performance not to be missed before leaving.
Half-day trips only
- Departure from Departure from T. St Jean de Muzols at 10:00 am (arrival at T. St Jean de Muzols around 11:30 am)
and / or
- Departure from T. St Jean de Muzols at 3:00 pm (arrival at T. St Jean de Muzols around 4:30 pm)
Plan to arrive 30 minutes before the train departure (only our stations have sanitary facilities)
NB: the operator reserves the right to change the traction mode, or even cancel a departure in case of force majeure. Thank you for your understanding.
