The Market Train

Destination of the great weekly market of Lamastre !

Every Tuesday from July 22 to August 19, 2025, board the market train in Saint-Jean-de-Muzols (T. St Jean de Muzols station), or other stations along the line, to shop at the big weekly market in Lamastre.

This diesel train is the ideal way to get to one of the best markets in the county of Ardèche, avoiding the problem of driving along winding roads and parking. Fill your baskets with traditional pork meats, beautifully ripe fruits, chestnuts, picodon goat cheese and other local produce.

NB : tickets for the Market Train are not valid on board steam trains.

Do you travel with a bike ?

Take your bike and trailer aboard the market train and continue your roaming on the cycle paths connected to our stations : the Dolce Via or the ViaRhôna.

Warning : limited number of bike spaces !

Cargo bike and tandem count as 2 bikes.

Timetable of the outward journey :

- T. St Jean de Muzols : Departure at 8:30 am
- Colombier : Departure at 8:55 am
- Boucieu-le-Roi : Departure at 9:15 am
- Arlebosc : Departure at 9:25 am
- Lamastre : Arrival at 10:00 am

Timetable of return trip :

- Lamastre : Departure at 12:30 am
- Arlebosc : Arrival at 1:00 pm
- Boucieu-le-Roi : Arrival at 1:15 pm
- Colombier : Arrival at 1:35 pm
- T. St Jean de Muzols : Arrival at 1:55 pm

From T. St Jean de Muzols, plan to arrive 30 minutes before the departure of the train. For the other stations, plan to arrive 10 minutes before the indicated timetable.
